Purrdy considered every and any tree a personal challenge.

This meant that regardless of the difficulty, or sensibility, of climbing them, Purrdy attacked all trees with reckless enthusiasm.

She went up the cherry tree as a kitten, only to realise that she had no idea of how to get down and had to be resucued (several times).

She climbed the christmas tree, several times, as a kitten.  Even when she had learned that climbing the tree was not a good idea, she still played with the decorations – we had to have a ‘purrdy bauble’ that was hers to play with safely on the bottom branches.

She went up the yucca plant, and after several abortive attempts, finally successfully reached the crown.  She then spent a lot longer trying to work out how to get back down.
